University Women’s Foundation (UWF)

The University Women’s Foundation of Jefferson County (UWF) was established in 1994 by Port Townsend AAUW as its philanthropic affiliate, and is a registered 501 (c)(3) non-profit foundation. UWF raises funds for the UWF Scholarship Endowment Fund, annual high school scholarships, gifts to national AAUW Funds and community projects that promote education and equity for women and girls in Jefferson County.

2017: We awarded about $55,000 in scholarships!
2018: We will be near $70,000 in honor of our 70th branch anniversary!
Our members helped raise the funds for  deserving young women from East Jefferson County.
