Jan. 2017: Met with our two Representatives and one Senator. heard from Calandra Sechrist who is the Equity and Civil Rights Director at the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI). Juli Salvi from the Washington Education Association talked about education funding. Pam Crone, our AAUW Legislative Consultant in Olympia, talked about the relevant bills coming soon. Attended hearing on the Paid Family Leave and Pregnancy Accommodation bills.
