This year we will step into the history of the suffrage movement in America, from the early days of the movement with Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Susan B. Anthony to almost 150 years later, when the 19th Amendment was signed by congress and ratified by 36 states.

===== 2018-2019 =======

She Persisted was the year’s program theme honoring women who have persevered – despite barriers – in their fight for justice, equality, recognition, education and other issues. We recognize the determination and resolve of women everywhere who are raising their voices, challenging the status quo and fighting for their beliefs. Chelsea Clinton’s new books, She Persisted and She Persisted Around the World are the catalyst for the theme.
